A Fantastic Humpback Whale Day !

The keen eyes and sharp mind of Captain Dave took the Condor Express into the midst of a humpback whale wonderland today. He reports at least 12 humpbacks (including our mascot, Rope). Not only was there abundant bait on the surface so the lunge feeding observed was spectacular, but two of the knobby headed beasts came over to the boat for personal introductions. These boat friendly humpbacks rolled around, slapped their pectorals, swam under the boat (so all passengers could do a meet and greet), and made it a wonderful day to be on the Channel.

Oh, and Dave also mentioned abundant common dolphins, around and feeding all day everywhere the Express traveled….upwards of 3,000+ animals.

Whooooeee!
