Condor Express Friend Sails Onward
One of the regular personalities on board the Condor Express, Eugene Radding, passed away yesterday, Nov. 8. He died peacefully with family nearby after a sudden decline. Eugene was a gentleman and a scholar. His kind words and consistent optimism led the crew to call Eugene our “good luck charm.” The whales seemed to
sense his presence, as did our passengers who were, themselves, luck to be on board when Eugene was serving as a naturalist. A graveside service will be held at 2pm tomorrow, Nov. 10th at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following charities, Ventura Food Share, Temple Beth Torah Ventura or the Channel Island National Marine Sanctuary.
Best regards,
Bob Perry
