Here are the species we watched closely today:
3 giant Blue Whales
750 long-beaked Common Dolphins
10 Humpback Whales
Conditions were epic on the Santa Barbara Whale Watching grounds today. Seas were flat glass calm and winds were non-existent. And the whales did not disappoint. There were whales around the boat the entire time we stayed on the grounds, and guess which Humpback was seen again today…our old pal “Rope!” It is great to keep seeing this individual mature female month after month and year after year. What a day!
