3 giant Blue Whales
3500 long-beaked Common Dolphins
8 Humpback Whales
A tiny bit more of a bump on the ocean surface today, but there were cetaceans everywhere in abundance. The official count above reflects whales we actually followed on their path, lots of other spouts were spotted all around the area. Two of the Humpback Whales did some surface lunge feeding on krill patches…always a thrill. This is California Whale Watching at its best
