Two gray whales as a front moves through.
The 9am trip was fairly pleasant and we watched 2 gray whales to the west of Santa Barbara Harbor. There were also 200 or so common dolphins in the area. Towards the end of the trip, the winds which were expected in association with a cold front moving through the region began to kick up. Fortunately we were on our way home and had great sightings under our belt. We cancelled the rest of the trips as the storm winds made sea conditions later in the day fairly uncomfortable.
We expect things to return to normal again tomorrow.
