Humpback Whales and Minke whale sightings on the rise today

With ideal whale watch conditions in the northeast Santa Barbara Channel again today, we were blessed with some amazing total whale sightings. We closely watched 5 humpback whales and there were at least 3 more within visual range. One of the whales we knew from its prominent deep prop scars across the back, and its friend. The friend made several very close, friendly passes by the Condor Express. Three Minke whales were also seen in the area, as well as at least 1,000 very friendly common dolphins. In all, it was a great whale watching day.

Some important schedule changes: Saturday we have one public whale watch trip, 8am – 1230pm There are no public whale watch trips on Sunday.

best regards Bob Perry Condor Express
