CONDOR EXPRESS SHIP’S LOG – Thurs Sept 16

Friends,

The fog rolled into the Channel today, but did not deter the sharp eyes of our whale-finding crew!

Here is what the Condor Expressly watched today: 2 Humpback Whales (very friendly whales –  mugged the boat) 1 Minke Whale 50 California Sea Lions 15 Pacific Harbor Seals (at Santa Cruz Island) 300 Common Dolphins

As a side note, one of the two Humpbacks that mugged the boat was a female we call “Rope” due to an entanglement episode years ago and a scar.  We've been watching her for years, and this year she's been seen in the Channel on and off since March.  We may nominate her as the official Humpback of the Condor Express.  Who wants to second the motion?

You never know on a day to day basis what mother nature has in store.  But it is always an amazing day full of sea creatures and adventures on the high seas when the Condor Express leaves the dock every day at 10am regularly.  Hope to see you and your associates out there… Sign up now and tell your friends.  Call 1-888-77WHALE or 805-882-0088 to get your name on the list before all the spots fill up. Photographs from weekend and holiday trips are available online at  www.CondorExpressPhotos.com
