Humpback whales get frisky today

Friday, September 7, 2012 Trip Sightings Report:

Here are the species we watched closely today: 2 Humpback whales 2,000 Common Dolphins

NOTES: Good conditions on the Channel today. Calm seas and great visibility and very clear water. One the humpback whales was our friend “Rope,” and her friend came up to the boat, rolled around, spy-hopped and all this in that clear water.

Call 888-77WHALE or 805-882-0088 to book your whale trip and join me tomorrow out there in paradise.

In addition to the expert crew on the Condor Express with over 35 years of experience, Channel Islands Naturalist Corps volunteer naturalists, representatives from the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary and National Park, are usually on board and available to answer your questions during the trip.
