The large whales still abound !

Sightings for Saturday, May 19

Species List for today:

15 Humpback Whales (perhaps another 15 or more in the area)

5 Blue Whale (more seen in the distance)

NOTE:   Captain Mat Curto reports excellent sea conditions and fantastic sightings today out on the whale grounds.  Krill is still up on the surface in patches, and the beasts are taking advantage of these hors d'ourvres.  One blue whale lunge-fed right in front of the bow of the Condore Express and thrilled our guests and crew.  The humpbacks slapped their pectoral fins, lobbed their tails and did what happy humpies do.  All around there were thousands of sooty sheawaters waiting for their chance to grab some krill.

C'mon out and join us, the water is fine.
