Gray whales, dolphins and porpoise

Whale Watching Report February 17, 2013

Gray whales Common dolphins Dall’s porpoise Pacific white-sided dolphins

Gray whales continue their northern migration. Captain Mat sailed out on two trips today, 9am and 12noon. It was another day without wind on the water. Along the way, guests on board the Condor Express were treated to sightings of 2 gray whales, 750 common dolphins, a small pod of Dall’s porpoise, and to top off the list: Pacific white-sided dolphins too.

It has truly been a great weekend on the Santa Barbara Channel with the best whale watching in California. For information on reservations, visit the or call Sea Landing at (805) 882 0088.
