Perfect conditions for humpback whales and minke whales

Perfect conditions for humpback whales and minke whales!

It was drop dead gorgeous in the northeastern Channel today. Calm seas, light to zero winds, bright and sunny skies prevailed. All this made seeing spouts very easy and enjoyable. Although 3 humpback whales were watched closely. there were many more spouts in the area. Among the three humpbacks, we had our friend “Rope,” and her very friendly pal that always comes over to the boat like a 40 ton puppy dog. In addition 4 Minke whales and 750 common dolphins were watched on today’s trip.

Hope you can join us soon while the Fall season is so productive.
