The Humpback Whale-fest continues on the coast.

Our track across the northeastern Channel today.

Captain Mat reports that the Condor Express again ran to the northeastern reaches of the Santa Barbara Channel today. Here Mat the the crew found no less than 4 humpback whales on an area we call “The Flats.” Very good looks were had by all and the highlight of the trip was a massive tail throw by one of the big humpback whales that sent a tidal wave of spray up in the air very close to the boat. Wow!

In addition, approximately 800 long beaked common dolphins were seen. Conditions for whale watching are holding steady with wonderful sea conditions. Now is the time to get out there and enjoy the wildlife!

best regards Bob Perry Condor Express
