Report for Thursday, May 3rd
It was an island whale watch trip today, 10am 230pm, and what a day it was. First, here's the executive summary:
500 Common Dolphins
3 Humpback Whales
4 Gray Whales
4 Killer Whales (8 in the area)
Thanks to Captain Anthony on the IPCO boat, we got lined up on the Orcas. Anthony reported they had just eaten a Common Dolphin, and when we got on the scene there was still blood and intestines on the water.
This fabulour sighting is on top of all the other species we encountered today. What a glorious day to be on board the Condor Express.
