9 humpbacks including a cow-calf pair, a blue whale and 2000 common dolphins
Not a bad trip. Three of the humpback whales including the mother and her calf, were very friendly and mugged the Condor Express. There were 2 megapods of at least 1,000 common dolphins and the first pod was located by the whitewater they kicked up during their full throttle, high-speed running. The second pod was much more normal. The lone blue whale came towards the end of the session out on the feeding grounds. It had a long down time, but the surface interval made up for it and everyone on board was thrilled to see this giant.
