Thin high clouds dissipated quickly and most of the trip enjoyed hazy blue and sunny conditions. Seas were calm. Sightings today included: 1 humpback whale and 2000 long-beaked common dolphins.
About 7 miles south of Santa Barbara Point our dolphin escorts arrived and were seen in small pods all day.
Our single humpback was also seen in this area.
The excursion moved out as far as The Lanes taking advantage of the prime conditions to widen the search area and enjoy the marvelous views.
