Cetacean Afficianados,
The Amercian Cetacean Society ran an 8-hour expedition into the Channel today. Calm seas, sunny skies and this is what the Condor Express watched closely today: 6 Blue Whales (more tall spouts in the distance) 6 Humpback Whales (more all around)
10 Inshore Bottlenose Dolphins
1000's of California Sea Lions
1 huge Sunfish (Mola mola)
Lots of jellies
There were 4 or 5 breaches by Humpbacks, including a double breach. Another group of Humpies came over and mugged us. Many more spouts were all around in the distance. Whoooeee. what a show!! Sign up now to see the show, you never know what Mother Nature has in store for you in the way of fabulous sightings when you come on board. Make your reservations now and see the Humpbacks, Blues, plus whatever else is happening out there in our wonderful Channel. We are truly fortunate to live and play where we do, and this is the best it gets as far as the Spring season. Oh, yeah! Call 888-77WHALE or 805-882-0088 to book your trip.
