This was our last scheduled coastal Gray Whale trip of the season!  …and what a season it has been!

9am Adventure:

2 Gray Whales (mother and calf) playing in the kelp for a hour

50 Common Dolphins

2 Harbor Seals (1 in harbor, 1 in open ocean)

12 noon Trip; 4 gray whales (2 cow-calf gray whale pairs closely followed) + 2 more in the area 200 common dolphins

3pm Expedition:

Another wonderful fine, sunny, calm day along the coast to watch the Gray Whale mothers and calves marching west.

We wish them well on their journey north and hope to see them again next season!  Bon Voyage Amigos.

I'll post the photos from today, including the mom and calf playing in the kelp beds, no later than Wednesday this week.
