Humpback whales on the California coast

Monday, September 3, 2012 Daily Whale and Dolphin Report:

Here are the species we watched closely today: 2 Humpback Whales (a mother and her calf) 500 Common Dolphins

1-NOTES: Good conditions on the Channel today. The two humpback whales were friendly and the calf did a bit of rolling around in the drifting kelp paddies to the delight of all on board the Condor Express.

2-NOTES: Please send your thoughts and prayers out to Condor Express founder and owner, Fred Benko. Fred is going through a rough patch with his general health right now. Just keep a fond thought. More later.

Call 888-77WHALE or 805-882-0088 to book your whale trip.
