Gray Whale Lovers,
It's northbound Gray Whale season and here are the cetacean sightings for today:
18 Humpback Whales (as many as 25 in the area)
1300 Common Dolphins
The noon trip had 8 Humpbacks and 1000 Commons. It was a clear, calm summerlike day and the whales played under and around the boat.
The 3pm trip had 10 Humpacks and 300 Commons…..similar friendly Humpback behaviors as the noon trip.
The is one of the earliest “Return of the Humpbacks” years we can remember! It is also the tip of the northbound Gray Whale migration iceberg. C'mon out and catch the show.
