Here is the wildlife count summary for Saturday, March 31st
3 Gray Whales 50 Common Dolphins, and 1 Northern Elephant Seal Pup
We had a magical encounter with a very young Northern Elephant Seal pup as we ran up to the west past Elwood. The little guy stayed right next to the boat for a few minutes, looking at us, before heading back to the deep. If you have never seen one of these young Elephants in the water, take a look at the images on our photos site:
