Nature Lovers,
It was another bright, beautiful and flat calm sunny day full of cetaceans out in the Santa Barbara Channel today! And this is what the Condor Expressly saw today: 5+ Gray Whales 150+ Risso's Dolphins
150 California Sea Lions
We watched 5 whales closely, and 2 of them for about an hour. These 2 whales were rolling and tumbling all around, sideways and upside down, seemingly playing with the abundant Risso's Dolphins. In addition to these 5 that we watched, there were numerous spouts in the area. The Risso's were also spread out over a large region and although we watched at least 150 closely, many, many more were out in the periphery.
I'll post todays photographys on the boat photo site tomorrow: www.CondorExpressPhotos.com
