Six friendly humpback whales + dolphins = FUN in the Santa Barbara Channel

Six friendly humpback whales + dolphins = FUN

Fantastic clear, blue and sunny skies today across the Santa Barbara Channel made it possible for us to spot a whopping 6 humpback whales on the feeding grounds today. Among the beasts we had Rope (our humpback mascot) and that mother with the split dorsal fin calf we call “Nick.” Everyone was feeding: the whales were dining on the massive anchovy populations, and the Condor Express people were dining on the excellent cuisine cooked up in our own Cafe Condor (ship’s galley). At least 1,500 common dolphins were found the Santa Barbara Channel today.

C’mon out and join the fun. I’ll see you on board tomorrow. Bob Perry Condor Express
