Once again fabulous sunny skies created a warm environment which, along with glassy seas, made for a wonderful wildlife-watching day. Captain Eddy and the crew traveled about 5 miles offshore and ended up finding some great wildlife S of Hope Ranch. A single 2 ½ hour expedition yielded 100 common dolphins and 2 humpback whales.

The mirror glass conditions enhanced our encounter with a friendly pod of dolphins. It was a wonderful experience for all! The dolphins led us directly to a pair of adult whales. They were in slow travel mode, moving W, spending a lot of time on the surface. The duo was not shy about showing us their tail flukes.

You never know what mother nature has in store.
