Surface humpback whale lunge feeding by all today

It was another nice day on the Channel with plenty of anchovy schools to get the cetaceans and whale watchers excited. Captain Dave reported a total of 5 humpback whale and 4 Minke whales. 4 of the humpbacks and some of the Minkes were surface lunge feeding quite a bit today, taking advantage of all those anchovies. In addition approximately 1,000 common dolphins were seen. Wow, what a day!

No trip tomorrow, but business as usual on Friday. Tell ’em Bob sent you.
