2024 03-01 SB Coast
Skies were overcast and it was raining during the entire trip. We ran just one today, leaving the docks at 12 noon.
In addition to the overcast conditions, seas were choppy because the storm and the wind was coming from the southeast to which the channel is much more exposed.
Nonetheless, Dave and the crew pulled together a great sighting of three northbound adult gray whales. They were found off of Hope Ranch.
You never know what Mother Nature has a store.
