Wed July 28 – Whale and Dolphin report

Nature Lovers, We “hit the jackpot” today with sunny skies and a great diversity of species for one single day.  The summer species remain in great abundance on the feeding grounds near Santa Rosa…and here is a summary of those marine mammals watched closely by the Condor Express today: 11 Blue Whale (It was a mother and her calf) 10 Humpback Whales (approached the boat very closely…great !) 30 Risso's Dolphins

25 Dall's Porpoise

1 Elephant Seal 50 Inshore Bottlenose Dolphins (very rare in the Channel) 50 California Sea Lions This is the prime time for our summer species…get on board and see for yourself !
