Whale and Dolphin Report – Sunday, Jan 16
Greetings Santa Barbara Whale Watchers,
It was a bright and sunny day full of cetaceans out in the Santa Barbara Channel today! And this is what the Condor Expressly saw today:
5 Gray Whales 30 Risso's Dolphins
The Grays were seen both in the middle of the Channel and up near the north face of Santa Cruz Island. The Risso's were spectacular, surfing the open ocean blue water swells. Wow. Also, don't forget, a special MLK Day special Monday trip has been added. Photos from today's adventure will be online tomorrow at our photo site: www.CondorExpressPhotos.com Take a peek.
Remember, the Condor Express is the ONLY full-time whale watching boat operating in the Santa Barbara Channel from Oxnard to Point Conception.
