Whale Lovers,
Yesterday's big swells and high winds died down quite a bit and the sun came out too. It was easy pickins' for whales out near the Channel Islands today, as they moved east and closer for the Condor Express. Here are the cetacean (and fish) totals:
750 common dolphins
9 Blue Whales
5 Humpback Whales
Fairly calm and smooth waters today. The whales are closer to the Harbor than last weekend, so the trips are leisurely and the weather is sunny and nice.
