curtis35188

Report for Thursday, May 10, 2012

Species closely followed by the Condor Express:

14 Humpback Whales (as many as 15 or more in the area)

3 Blue Whales (at least 3 more in the area) 100 Common Dolphins

Krill is on the surface.  Today both baleen species were lunge feeding within plain view of the Condor Express.  Both Blues and Humpbacks gorged themselves on these shoals of crustaceans.  It was off the charts.

Special Note regarding this Weekend:   Friday and Sunday are private charter trips.  Saturday is our only open boat date and it is filling up fast.  Make your reservation now to get out there while the whales are frisky.
