Sightings for Tuesday, May 29
Species List for today:
15 Humpback Whales (dozens more in the area)
2 giant Blue Whales
2 Dall's Porpoises
A moderate bump on the ocean surface did not deter the giant mammals from putting on another great show. Again the Humpbacks did their tricks. Breaching, slapping pectorals, lob-tailing….the full repertoire. This is a very early arrival of Blue Whales and adds to the diversity of sightings for a wonderful day on the water. OOOOOOOOOOOoooooooeeeeeeeeee!! By the way, images from yesterday's Memorial Day Humpback Show are now online.
C'mon out and join us, the water is fine.
