Another great day with feeding humpback whales

Wednesday, September 19, 2012 Trip Sightings Report:

Here are the species we watched closely today: 3 Humpback whales (see below) 4 Minke whales 400 Common Dolphins

NOTES: It was a calm day on the water as we again ran to the east. Among today’s humpback whales we had one cow-calf pair which we had not seen prior, and an interesting male with frosty dorsal, a white tail and a white stripe from dorsal fin to tail. Amazing to see. The male was feeding anchovies along with the common dolphins.
