Adventure action seekers,
The scorecard for today:
1,100 common dolphins
4 giant Blue Whales
11 Humpback Whales
Nice sea conditions in the Channel today. NOAA forecast gale force winds and rough seas, but Mother Nature evidently didn't read the NOAA forecast.
News Flash: The krill is back on the surface after two weeks down deep. Surface lunge feeding was everywhere by Blues and Humpbacks alike. At one point Captain Mat had to throttle back in reverse to avoid a frenzied attack on krill by a Humpback right off the bow..the beast was unaware of the Condor Express and the krill was attempting to find shelter beneath her hull. Now NOAA is calling for calmer seas ahead…let's keep our fingers crossed! Wow, what a spectacular day full of action out on the grounds.
